Exhibition Park is one of Newcastle's oldest park with it opening up as Exhibition Park in 1887 after being called the Bull Park for a large number of year. There is only one part of the original Exhibition Park left and that us the Bandstand stituated near the tennis courts. 

Exbihition Park has a large selection of facilities to offer to the public with it having a children's play area, outdoor gym equipment, 5 tennis courts, a multi sport area, the Cafe in the park, skatepark, the lake, The Tyneside Society of Model and Experimental Enginners which operates a miniture railway beside the the lake. Recently Wylam Brewary opened with having large events across the year.
