A focus for the last month has been the planning and promotion of events due to take place in the North West over the 2024-25 season. I’m pleased to say, with the support of a number of clubs and venues, there are a growing number of new events planned for the 2024-25 season, these include:

• Women and Girls event – GN Ping Hub, 24 Aug 24 (Manchester)
• Women and Girls 1 Star – Blackpool, 28 Sep 24 (Lancs)
• 2 x Junior 2 Stars – Blackpool, 29 Sept 24 (Lancs) and UCLan, Preston, 2025 (tbc) (Lancs)
• GN Ping Hub Olympic Challenge – Manchester, Aug/Sep 2024 (non league players)
• 2 x Junior 1 Stars – Halton, 6 Oct 24 (Cheshire) and Kirkby Stephen, Feb 2025 (Cumbria)
• 1 x Senior & Vets 1 Star – Halton, 13 Oct 24 (Cheshire)
