The Isle of Wight Table Tennis Association held their annual Presentation Evening on 4 September.

Association chairman, Alex Rorke, thanked everyone for their support and commitment throughout the year, and in particular Pat Thorley, Paul Cates, Tim Giles and Peter Clarke who arranged the evening’s activities and co-ordinated the events.

The Association now looks forward to the Winter League which starts in early October. They are delighted to have four divisions this year and 16 teenagers (under-16) who will be playing in the league – a positive sign for the future.

At the end of the season they will wish good luck to their team (eight players) that will be participating in the International Island Games in the Faroe Islands.
