The annual Alan Hewitt memorial table tennis tournament takes place on 29 August at Meon Vale Sports Centre in Stratford Upon Avon.

The event, in memory of popular ormer Warwickshire and Leicestershire county player Alan Hewitt is now in its fourth year.

Entry is via Matt Hobday on 07894 853702 and entries are open until 22 August.

The last three years of the Alan Hewitt Memorial Tournament has seen around £3,000 raised for charity, including British Children’s Heart Foundation.
