When players step up to the table at a competition, their focus is on the action in front of them.

But every successful event relies on a team of dedicated people working behind the scenes to make it happen.

From scheduling matches and preparing venues to ensuring rules are applied fairly and competitions run smoothly and safely, officials and organisers play a vital role in creating positive experiences for players – as well as coaches and spectators.

From Tournament Organisers to Referees and Umpires, technical officials are at the heart of table tennis competitions. Without them, competitions simply could not happen.
