Three local table tennis venues have been selected to host Table Tennis England National Competitions in the 2026/27 season after a competitive tender process.

The Under-21 National Cup will be hosted by Highfields TTC in Wellingborough.

The event, over the weekend of 24-25 October, is a round-robin competition for the top boys and girls in the U21 rankings.

It has been hosted very successfully for the past two years at BATTS in Harlow and its relocation reflects a desire to move the event around the country while keeping it based at local clubs.

All three dates of the National Series will continue to be held at Grantham College and Nottingham TTC, which provide two central venues for this competition as we look to build on the improvements implemented in the second year of the competition this season.

The dates are the weekends of 17-18 October, 21-22 November and 23-24 January.

The divisional structure will be confirmed shortly, following feedback from last season’s event, and will again see multiple divisions with promotion and relegation between each round.

The Pathway Development Cup, will again be held at Highfield, which successfully delivered a 12-table set-up for the inaugural event last month, which was also the club’s first national Competition.

This competition is a team competition for the Pathway Development Centres and has U11 and U13 age categories for both with boys and girls. The dates will be 22-23 June 2027.

We will be reviewing the feedback received from last month’s inaugural edition, to build on a positive year one.

We would like to thank all the other unsuccessful applications, across all the competitions. We look forward to working with all hosts during 2026/27 and welcome continued applications from all venues in future years.
