With a prize find of more than £4,000, the landmark Liverpool Centenary Senior 4* is sure to prove popular and attract some of the best players n the country – so don’t miss out, enter now!
The competition, celebrating 100 years of Liverpool Table Tennis, is at Wavertree Tennis Centre on the weekend of 22-23 August, and entries are now in their last fortnight, with a closing date of Sunday 26 July.
The tournament programme has something for everyone, beginning with Men’s Open and Women’s Banded Singles Events on the Saturday, providing competitive opportunities for players across a wide range of standards and encouraging participation from throughout the North of England and beyond.
Then, on the Sunday, the spotlight falls on the Men’s Open Singles and Women’s Singles, featuring some of the country’s leading players competing for the coveted titles and first prizes of £500 in each event.
With Under-21 Events also taking place on Sunday, these events offer an exciting opportunity for the next generation of talent to compete in a major national tournament. There is also a Doubles Competition costing only £10 to enter.
Whether you’re aiming to compete for the top honours, test yourself against new opponents, or simply be part of a landmark occasion in Liverpool table tennis history, the Liverpool Centenary Senior 4* promises a fantastic atmosphere, excellent competition and a fitting celebration of 100 years of the Liverpool League.
Entries are also open for the Sussex Senior 4* Open, at the popular K2 venue in Crawley on the weekend of 12-13 September, following a highly successful inaugural event last year.
Featuring Banded play on the Saturday and the blue riband singles events on Sunday, the Sussex 4* also includes Mixed Veterans and Mixed Restricted events on the Sunday.
The closing date for entries is 14 August.
