WTT Manchester Feeder Coach CPD event
We are excited to invite you to the WTT Manchester Feeder Coach CPD event, a fantastic opportunity to expand your coaching knowledge and develop new skills.

Neurodiversity in Grassroots Table Tennis – Learn how to create an inclusive environment for neurodivergent players, led by Access Sport.
Player Analysis – Understand match analysis, identify strengths and weaknesses, and build training sessions based on performance data.
Mental Health & Building Resilience – Discover strategies to support players’ well-being and foster resilience in grassroots table tennis.
Building a Player Pathway – Learn how to structure a development pathway from beginner to elite and establish partnerships with local organisations.
An introduction to sport psychology; preparing for competition – Learn about pre-performance anxiety and confidence and how coaches can support athletes when things don’t go to plan.
Developing Young Players & Creating a Positive Learning Environment – Explore age-appropriate coaching strategies and how to nurture young talent effectively.

Table Tennis England Activator Course – Great Northern Ping Hub, Manchester.
Looking to bring table tennis to life in your school, community, or sports group? The Table Tennis England Activator Course is the perfect opportunity to gain the skills and confidence to lead fun, engaging sessions!
Thursday 24th April 2025 4pm-6pm
This two-hour course is designed for teachers, School Games Organisers (SGOs), and community leaders who want to facilitate inclusive and exciting table tennis activities. Participants will receive:
✅ A brief introduction to table tennis
✅ An understanding of the Activator role
✅ Training in key skills, games, and activity ideas
✅ Guidance on delivering inclusive sessions for all abilities
📍 Location: Great Northern Ping Hub
👥 Capacity: Up to 30 participants
Time: 4-6pm.
Active Lancashire Breakfast Clubs in May
Across two weeks in May Active Lancashire we will be holding a series of Breakfast Clubs in five areas. They are aimed at anyone who is involved or interested in sport, physical activity, community initiatives and/or welfare. Everyone is welcome to attend. Dates and venues are on the attached image.
These free, 2-hour events are an opportunity to come together with other people and organisations from across the county, celebrating the work being doing in our communities, sharing best practice and making contacts for future collaboration.
Plus there’s a free breakfast for all attendees!

The Breakfast Club will be split into sections for breakfast & networking, sharing what you do, activities and drop-ins with the Sport Welfare Officers. There will also be other side activities to take part in.
