Following the successful pilot of the Girls’ Cadet British Clubs League (BCL) during the 2025/26 season, Table Tennis England is inviting expressions of interest from clubs wishing to host rounds of the competition during the 2026/27 season.

The pilot season attracted more than 40 teams across four venues, demonstrating strong demand for a dedicated girls’ club league competition.

Building on this success, we are now seeking between four and six venues to deliver the competition next season as part of our continued commitment to providing meaningful competitive opportunities for girls within the club league pathway.

This event is targeted at grassroots level and the main objective of this format is to create more opportunities for girls to start playing at an entry level.

We are seeking venues to host a three-round series on the following dates:

• Round 1 – Sunday 6 December 2026
• Round 2 – Sunday 24 January 2027
• Round 3 – Sunday 11 April 2027

Venues must be able to accommodate a minimum of four tables and meet the operational requirements outlined in the tender document which can be downloaded below.

Applications are welcomed from both existing BCL hosts and clubs that are new to hosting British Clubs League events. While organisers are expected to host all three rounds, local variations to the core dates may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

As with the existing Cadet and Junior BCL programme, a financial contribution towards hosting costs will be available and will be based on the number of teams allocated to each venue following the entry process.

Hosting requirements

Hosts will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of competition rounds, including:

• Creating and managing divisions and fixtures.
• Updating results via TT Leagues within the required timescales.
• Ensuring the event runs efficiently and on schedule.
• Providing a safe environment, including safeguarding, first aid and risk management arrangements.
• Meeting the venue, equipment and facility standards detailed within the tender document.
