Max Radiven won doubles gold and Oscar Nikolli a singles bronze at WTT Feeder Prishtina in Kosovo.

Radiven was competing alongside Mariana Santa of Portugal, and the pair were fourth seeds in the Under-19 Mixed Doubles.

Having beaten Dutch-Belgian combination in the last 16, and a pair from Czechia and Latvia in the quarter-finals, they then beat Matt Closset & Lessia Lewyckyj of Belgium in the semi-finals – their opponents having earlier defeated the top seeds.

Radiven & Santa lost only one game over those three matches, but the final against third seeds Damian Floro & Emma Molnarova of Slovakia went the distance, with Radiven & Santa coming from 2-1 down to win 3-2 (11-7, 6-11, 9-11, 11-4, 11-3) and take the title.

Janak Shah & Nina Nikolova of Bulgaria won through their first match but were knocked out in the last 16 by the fifth seeds from Romania. In the Under-15 Mixed, Nishil Shah & Sara Hoxha of Kosovo, and Nikolli & Plamena Dimitrova of Bulgaria went out in the last 16.

In the singles, Nikolli’s run to the semi-finals of the Under-15 Boys’ competition earned him a bronze medal. Seeded sixth, he beat fourth seed Krasen Savov of Bulgaria 3-0 (11-6, 11-2, 11-6) in the quarter-finals and was then beaten by top seed and eventual champion Louis Fegerl of Austria 3-0 (11-6, 11-8, 11-4) in the semis. Nishil Shah pushed third seed and eventual silver medallist Spyros Sarigiannidis of Luxembourg before losing 3-0 (14-12, 11-8, 15-13) in the last 16.

In the Under-17 Boys’ Singles, fifth seed Radiven reached the quarter-finals, where he was knocked out by second seed and eventual champion Jan Skalda of Slovakia, 3-1 (11-8, 9-11, 11-9, 11-7). Nikolli reached the round of 16, where his run ended at the hands of third seed Berk Ostoprak of Turkiye. Nishil Shah and Janak Shah both went out in the round of 32.

Radiven went out in the last 32 of the Under-19 Boys’ Singles, while Janak Shah did not progress past the group stage.
