Dimitar Dimitrov (pictured above) steps up from Contender to Star Contender at his second WTT tournament of the week in Tunis.

Dimitrov (WR 482 Junior), who reached the Under-13 Boys’ Singles semi-finals at the Contender, will face a bigger challenge up against some higher-ranked Under-15s this time out.

He has been drawn in Group 2 with second seed Lukas Wang of Germany, who is the No 156 Junior in the world. Also in the group are the higher-ranked Emil Ellermann of Sweden and the lower-ranked Abdesslem Karray of the host nation.

Dimitrov is also involved in the Under-15 Boys’ Doubles and Under-15 Mixed Doubles. The competition begins on Friday.
