ROLE SUMMARY

The British League Committee oversees delivery of British League competition – Table Tennis England’s premier club competition – including sub-committees for each section: Senior (SBL), Women’s (WBL), Junior (JBL) and Veteran’s (VBL).

We are seeking a VBL Assistant Referee and JBL Assistant Referee to support the respective British League Sub-Committee/ section, its Referee, and operational delivery of those events, in furtherance of the general objectives.

The sub-committee will be consulted virtually on annual formation of the leagues, and as required on any relevant issues, such as changes to structure, or interpretation of and amendment of regulations. Preparatory and weekend work will be required in support of the national weekend events.

Sub-committee members will have a tenure of 2 years per term. Sub-committee members shall be entitled to claim from Table Tennis England such out of pocket expenses as are legitimately incurred in furtherance of agreed committee business, in line with the Table Tennis England volunteer expenses policy.
