It all comes down to this. Two teams at the top of the Premier Division, unable to be separated after nine rounds of fixtures. Brighton are in top spot thanks to a superior sets ratio, but that will not make a difference this weekend.

It’s the easiest equation for all players, win the match and win the league.

In what will be a scintillating finale to the season, Ormesby host Brighton in the league decider.

Emphatic could be used to describe Brighton’s route to this point. Dropping just nine sets all season they have only been beaten by this weekend’s opponents. They have recorded four 7-0 victories relying on just six players throughout the campaign.

But for a major upset Ormesby were eyeing a perfect season. Their defeat against North Ayrshire was one of the shocks of the season, if not in the history of the league. But, as true title contenders, they bounced straight back and ensured the league would be decided on the final day.

They know that replicating the 4-3 win they managed against Brighton in November will see them go one better than last year and lift the trophy.

It will be a match you do not want to miss, and you can watch every second on Ormesby’s YouTube channel.

Away from the title decider BATTS and North Ayrshire will look to finish their seasons on a high. BATTS threatened to challenge for a top two spot, but were unable to mount a real challenge after falling at the hands of both Brighton and Ormesby. Third place is theirs this season, and they will be looking to go out with a sixth win of the campaign.

North Ayrshire’s season will be remembered for their remarkable victory over Ormesby. They have shown signs that they have the potential to finish higher than fourth, but have lost out in a few key moments throughout the season. They need to win on Saturday to ensure they don’t give Fusion an opportunity to leapfrog them in the final standings.

Drumchapel Glasgow and Fusion will end their season on 31st May with a rearranged final fixture. The hosts will be looking for the second win of the season, whilst Fusion will have eyes on fourth spot should North Ayrshire lose this weekend.
