Ormesby Table Tennis Club is set to make history next month as it hosts the first-ever 2-star women and girls’ tournament in the North East of England. Scheduled for Sunday, June 8th, the event promises a day of high-energy competition, emerging talent, and a celebration of female participation in table tennis.

The competition, sanctioned as a 2* rated event, will feature a morning session with three age-based categories: Under-13 Girls, Under-15 Girls, and Over-15 Women. The afternoon session will see all ages battle it out in an Open Category, offering players a chance to challenge themselves against the full spectrum of competitors.

To encourage participation and reward performance, each group winner will receive a £50 Tees Sport voucher, with runners-up earning a £25 Tees Sport voucher.

With the entry deadline set for Friday, May 30th, we are urging players, coaches, and parents to secure their spots as early as possible.

Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or just starting your table tennis journey, the Women & Girls 2* at Ormesby TTC is set to be an exciting and inclusive event celebrating talent, competition, and community.
