Invitation lists have been sent out for the Mark Bates Ltd Cadet & U17 National Championships.

A total of 32 girls and boys have been invited in each age group based on rankings or, in the case of the Cadet (U15) cohort, their performance in 4* events this season.

The full criteria for invitations are:

• Cadets: Top 20 ranked players (January list), plus the top 10 players on the 4* leaderboard, plus two wildcards. All players (excluding wildcards), need to have played in two 4* Cadet events to have been invited.
• Under-17s: Top 30 ranked players (January list), plus two wildcards.

Each age group also includes Boys’ Doubles and Girls’ Doubles competitions, and there is Mixed Doubles in the Under-17 age group only.

The competition is at the David Ross Sports Village in Nottingham on March 8-9, with the Under-17s competing on the Saturday and the Under-15s on the Sunday. The deadline to accept a place is 11.59pm on Friday 19 February.
