Chris Doran and Mollie Patterson head the rankings for the Nottingham 4* this weekend, with a field of 135 competitors across 14 categories.

Doran (pictured above) will be aiming to add to his collection of titles in the Men’s Singles and his nearest challengers are leading Junior Joseph Hunter and more seasoned campaigners Umair Mauthoor and Alim Hirji.

Among those aiming to prevent Patterson from taking the Women’s Singles title will be Jersey’s Hannah Silcock, England’s WTT Feeder Manchester medallist Sophie Earley, and Ewelina Sychta.

The competition at Nottingham Trent University’s Clifton Sports Hub will see Banded competition on Saturday, with four categories for men and four for women.

Sunday’s play will comprise Under-21 competitions for both men and women, plus Restricted and Veterans categories, as well as the blue riband Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles.
